Note to self - Do your Long Run.
If I say I am going to do something, I do it. That is why I never commit to something unless I am sure it will happen. My famous words are "we will see", "let me think about it", "not sure, I'll talk to Gary", etc, etc.
I really, really, really, really, want to TRY to do a long run (six or more miles) each week and I really, really, really, don't want to do it on the treadmill if I can help it. So today is suppose to be warm and, if the rain holds off, I WILL do my long run. My bag is packed and I am ready.
Ginny - Seeing your progress for your half is very motivating. I love the way you are committing to this race, as Laura did for hers! I know I will do well if I can channel both of your drives.
I am amazed at how different we are in that regard. I LOVE signing up for stuff and then not doing it at the last minute. I do know when I follow through I am so much happier (especially when it involves getting out or being with friends\family)
